A graduate of Clark Atlanta University’s Mass Media Arts department, Dionne Lucas started her professional career with The Coca Cola Company, working in marketing at the company’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA. After heading dozens of projects for the company over the course of 10 years, Dionne took over as Marketing Manager in the company’s Farmington Hills, Michigan office. Four years later Dionne would take her talents back to Atlanta to work with RJ Reynolds subsidiary, Lane Limited.
Dionne served as a Senior Brand Manager for four years, and Category Manager for another two years. In these positions, she was responsible for the successful launch of numerous brands and received multiple accolades. Dionne moved to Nashville to serve as the Director of Marketing for Kentucky based Tantus Manufacturing. Currently, she is the Director of Marketing and Communications for the National Museum of African American Music.
