NMAAM’s Baron Society is designed for generous contributors in honor of Club Baron, one of the many night clubs of Nashville’s Jefferson Street history. Club Baron, Del Morocco and The Modern Era were venues that once featured the best in musical talent of the day. Bessie Smith, DeFord Bailey, Jimi Hendrix and Tina Turner are just a few of the artists who performed at Club Baron and embodied the drive, excellence and creativity of African Americans across the nation.
NMAAM’s Baron Society members are part of a lively, distinguished community—one that is actively celebrated and rewarded. Members receive benefits such as special invitations, Baron Society newsletters, recognition on our website, and other courtesies. To become a Baron Society member, a donor must pledge $25,000. This pledge can be satisfied in one lump sum or $25,000 over five years. As a founding member, your gift demonstrates your commitment and early investment to make our museum a reality. Additionally, as a token of our appreciation, this elite group will be commemorated in the museum with a naming opportunity. This generous gift recognizes NMAAM donors as visionaries who are creating a lasting impact.
