Pat Kerr Tigrett is a fashion designer, patron of Memphis music, and philanthropist. She has spearheaded such civic celebrations as the lighting of the Hernando DeSoto Bridge, the groundbreaking “Big Dig” party for The Pyramid, and the inaugural Northwest/LKM flight to Amsterdam. Pat is the founder of The Blues Ball, The Jingle Bell Ball, and The Nutcracker Ball, which benefit Memphis music, children, and the arts. As Chairman and CEO of Pat Kerr, Inc., she designs fashion couture in her downtown Memphis penthouse/office. Her work is showcased in prominent New York retail windows and featured on the covers of magazines and books, including Martha Stewart’s Weddings. Pat lived in London for 20 years, developing an extensive private royal collection containing gowns of items from Princess Diana, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Queen Victoria, and King George III. She is the widow of international financier John Tigrett and mother of Kerr Tigrett. Pat currently serves on the boards of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis in May, Smithsonian Rock ‘N’ Soul Museum, Riverfront Development Corporation, The University of Memphis, and the Memphis Charitable Foundation, among others.
